Counselling Services

CBT Counselling

It is based on client determination, with the therapist acting as a guide. Whenever the client or the therapist feel they need to address or rewrite goals, or switch topics or change direction, it must be done in a working together like a team.

DBT Counselling

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is a form of talk therapy that seeks to promote mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. While DBT practice stems from CBT, the key difference is in the approach to care.

EMDR

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. One component of
EMDR is a technique called “bilateral stimulation” where a therapist will guide a client
through eye movements, tones, or taps.

Child & Youth Counselling

With most/all our social workers being trained in CBT and DBT, we offer trauma informed, anti-oppressive approaches to care in individual, group, and family settings depending on what kind of services you are seeking.

Couples Counselling

It is important to screen for Power and Control within a relationship. Whether you access my services or the services of another Counsellor, this Initial Screening is Mandatory
