Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment to share some of the amazing professional and personal journeys I’ve been on recently.
I just wrapped up a transformative 4-month intensive training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and an Advanced IFS and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) course. This training has deepened my understanding and skills, and I can’t wait to bring this knowledge into our sessions.
This September, I’m thrilled to return to my full-time faculty position at Canadore College, teaching Social Service Worker students. The energy and exchange of knowledge in the classroom are invigorating, and I’m excited to mentor the next generation of helping professionals.
I’m also actively working on my ADHD research project, moving towards understanding and supporting our community in new ways.
To further my personal growth, I’m currently taking a 20-hour Foundations of Meditation certificate course. Learning to cultivate mindfulness not only enhances my well-being but enriches my practice.
On a lighter note, I’m continuing to learn the piano, and it’s been such a joy! And of course, I’m getting back in the pool for some refreshing swims—there’s nothing like water to rejuvenate the spirit.
